The bench is a multi-purpose gathering place, a spot for rest and contemplation. Combining lightness and transparency, it offers a playful, structural design that invites relaxation, whether sitting or reclining. The bench is made up of a series of wooden ribs connected by curved bamboo slats, which provide rigidity to the structure. The wood is treated with pine oil, a natural product that gives it a dark hue, contrasting beautifully with the lighter color of the bamboo. The fabrication is largely handcrafted and requires particular expertise, especially in the bamboo bending process.
