A commitment to the
living world
Tobie strives to design projects with minimal environmental impact, particularly through an economy of means and a search for practicality. His ongoing productions focus on bio-sourced constructions, ergonomy and crafts amongst other subjects.
His work encompasses the fields of furniture, lighting, equipment for the home and for sports, as well as scenography with semi-architectural installations. He oversees his projects at every stage of the design process, often including the production of prototypes or short series. Tobie also passes on his passion and expertise for design through his work with schools, workshops and manufacturing classes.
