The Circular Fountain

GUARANTEEING THE AVAILABILITY OF QUALITY WATER FOR THE FUTURE GENERATIONS

This scenographic installation celebrates the strategic partnership between Saur and InovaYa, which respond to the emergency of the global water transition. It is equipped with the innovative filtration technology developed by the start-up InovaYa.

The Circular Fountain is a metaphor for the water cycle. Thus, it evokes each of the stages this vital element goes through. First of all, water, under its vaporous form, falls in rain on earth. From the mountainous telluric blocks a spring flows in waterfalls and rivers. The current then calms down progressively. In the plains, the water progressively infiltrates underground to reach groundwater or finally flows into the ocean.

Today, Saur and Inovaya are partnering up to give water back the value it deserves. The goal of their collaboration is to design and deploy more efficient solutions for the rational use of water in order to guarantee the availability of quality water for future generations.

These two companies reached out to Tobie for the design of a tailor-made stand to present their partnership at the ChangeNOW 2023 Summit, an event aimed at accelerating the transition to a sustainable world.

The requests that guided the design work are the following :

- Present a demonstration of the filtration system developed by InovaYa
- Transmit a message illustrating the theme and values of the Saur and InovaYa companies
- Create a mean of interaction with visitors
- Spark the public’s curiosity to start a conversation
- Integrate water dispensers to serve visitors
- Integrate storage space and a signage support
- Be visible even from far away during the event

- Intervention perimeter = 6m²
- Comply with the floor plan of the exhibition and with safety standards (e.g. emergency exits, fireman circulation space, fireproof materials)
- Design a removable installation with a minimal environmental impact
